I am a climate economist at the ifo Institute in Munich.

I study economic and political impacts of climate change and environmental pollution. I am interested in the mechanisms through which climate affects societies, the ways societies adapt to climate change and the pre-conditions for successful adaptation. I am also interested in environmental pollution, and how different groups within societies are differently affected by it.
